"Iris and the Dragonflies" by Rosemary Danielis

Oh Iris.  Sweet little Iris.  This is really a shockingly good book.  I received an email saying that it's for young adults (primarily middle school aged children).  I really didn't think I would enjoy it that much and then I started reading and couldn't put it down!

This book is a tale of Iris and her adventures.  Along the way, she discovers herself, discovers others like her, and forms bonds with others that you know can never be severed.

There are many lessons that can be learned from this little girl.  Never stop chasing your dreams.  If you believe enough in yourself you can do it.  Never change for anyone.  These are valuable lessons that every teenager/tween should learn.  Especially while they are still young and impressionable.

I highly recommend this book for parents with children or just for the parents themselves that like a good story!

This book is the first of many in a series.  I had to email the author about it just to make sure she was going to continue the story.  She said she was in the process of editing, so I'm hoping book 2 will be out soon *fingers crossed*.

Feel free to take a look at the website or the facebook page dedicated to this wonderful story.

Overall I'd give the book 4/5, only because getting a 5/5 from me will be harder than pulling teeth!! Special thanks to Ms. Daniels for giving me a change to review this book!
