When I did my weekly grocery shopping this week, there were some pretty cool things I noticed at Walmart. First off, those black and white one subject compositions were clearanced to .40 each! I picked up 5. My daughter absolutely loves to write so that should last us a good long time. Also, they had calculators marked down 50% off to $2.00. PERFECT for carrying in a purse. Not too big and not too small. Be sure to check out walmart for their clearance back to school items. They're trying to make way for Halloween items so all that stuff has to go!
They are also changing out the season as far as their clothes. I always hit up the little kids clothes when this happens. Because frankly, we live in south Louisiana, you can wear short sleeves all year round usually. I also stock up on larger sizes for the upcoming summer and any birthdays I know that are coming soon!
At my walmart, they are still not carrying the Purina Pro Plan dog/cat food that had recent coupons on coupons.com. But they too are redoing their area so I'm hopeing *fingers crossed* a lot of things will be going on sale soon.
I also found the Gerber snacks that are on coupons.com on sale! $1.98 each for the Puffs (or Poofs if you live in my house). Use a $1.00 off 2 coupon.. brings it down to $1.48. Not a bad price!
I'm a former employee of Walmart. I worked as a Cashier, CSM, Cash Office Associate and Department Manager. I have an idea of how things over there work. This is the time of the year to stock up if you like going ot walmart!

Herbal Essences/Aussie Product: $2/6 sale.. $2 in RR.. use $1/2 coupon from recent P&G final price: $1.50 each (Must buy 2)
Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief: $4.99 sale.. $3 in RR.. there is a coupon from last month on coupons.com (I can't remember if it's expired yet or not.. dig through your boxes to see if you can find it!).. Price Varies depending on coupon. Even without a coupon the price is still only $1.99
Mitchum deodorant: $2.99.. $2 in RR..$1.00 from recent insert.. .01 overage!!!! (there is also a .75 coupons flying around.) Even if you don't have the coupons.. that's only .99!!
Dayquil/Nyquil: $2/11.. $2 in RR WYB 2.. $3.00 off @ coupon from recent P&G insert.. $3.00 each!!! (Must buy 2)

FREE Hersey's Air Delight: .99 with .99 ECB
Sally Hansen BOGO 50% off: there was many prints for this from coupons.com last month. If you still have one, you can use 2 since you are technically purchasing 2.

Prilosec 14ct $10.00 on sale.. $2.00 ECB which brings it down to $8.00 (Regular is around $14). Stack the $1 off from the recent P&G insert and get it as low as $7.. HALF OFF IS AWESOME!
Zantac (various counts and products) $19.99 sale with $5.00 in ECB brings it down to $14.99. Dig around and see if you can stack a manufacture coupon on top of that. If you ordered a sample from them recently, usually they come with coupons so double check!
Excedrin (various varieties) $5.00 in ECB. They didn't say in the add is there was a quota to fill to get the ECB so I'm not entirely sure how this one would work. But, there were recent coupons for them in the past months inserts so it's worth taking a look at.
Schick Quaetro $8.99 sale.. $4.00 in ECB brings it down to $4.99. I KNOW there is a manf. coupon out there for this somewhere. I'm just having trouble finding it!

Online Scentsy Par-tay!
I've teamed up with Alice Renee Edmunds to host a scentsy party! How fun is that? If you were looking into getting some the new scents for fall or to start stocking up for Christmas.. this is where you need to be! If her name sounds familiar.. I can probably explain why.
