I decided to make a blog. Why? I'm not sure.  I'm sure no one will read it, but it helps release some of my randomness on the outside world.

A Discovery of Witches by: Deborah Harkness

Ok so this book kinda rocked.  It starts with Diana Bishop, a witch decendant from a powerful line of witches, who meets and falls in love with a vampire, Matthew Clairmonte.  It is basically Twilight for grownups. The book takes you on her magical (literally) journey through the world.  There's action, suspense, love, death: everything a good book should have.  I highly recommend to anyone wh really just enjoys a good story. The only bad parts are that it does get a bit slow at times.  It's also full of history (I love history but I still had problems keeping up).  What I didnt realize what that it's the first in a trilogy and the next isnt set to come out until next year.  I'm sure it will be well worth the wait!!!
